ECO GRASS
and ECOSPORT TURF SYSTEMS has been developed over the years as the highest quality premium synthetic turf field available
in North America and Europe.
We continually re-evaluate the manufacturing specifications of all three
of the better known "brand name" distributors and we have added more then 10% in fiber density and strength, resulting
in the higher quality, soft and plush turf system. We also use UV coated and protected 2" or 2.5" long PolyE
fibers. This system is typically installed on a compacted crushed rock base and then is infilled with high grade recycled
crumb rubber.
We use a strong Urethane heavy duty backing (some manufacturers use less dense
latex). The turf system is installed on the 4" - 6" bed of laser graded gravel and sand resulting in an extremely firm,
yet realistic playing surface. This base is designed to drain 25" + of rain per hour! Sports injuries on this type of
playing surface are actually far less (40% reduction or more) than what occurs on even real grass! Even when walking directly
on this field, you literally have to get on your hands and knees and run your fingers through the soft fibers to determine
whether it is real grass or synthetic. This is amazing stuff!
